Email Cluster A is Online
12:34 EDT
OpenSRS - Email Service is back online for customers on Cluster A. Some customers experienced login and timeout issues when attempting to access their mailboxes via Webmail, POP, IMAP and SMTP.
Our Operations team continues to investigate the root cause.
12:35 EDT
We managed the flow inbound ham (the legitimate mail) and spam (marked as spam) mail. By setting the flow for these queues we were able to alleviate the symptoms.
Incident Summary:
We implemented a processing change for mailbox snapshots to occur in non-peak times. We also created a change request to add more load capacity to the service.

Email Cluster A is Degraded
11:09 EDT
Some customers on OpenSRS - Cluster A are experiencing login and timeout issues when attempting to access their mailboxes via Webmail, POP, IMAP and SMTP. Inbound mail for these customers is also delayed for delivery once this is resolved. Not all customers on Cluster A are affected.
Our Operations team is investigating the high load on the systems.
11:12 EDT
Operations has found that three specific mailstores are affected by a high load of transactions on the server filer (NFS). This is why only some customers on Cluster A are affected as they reside on these affected devices.
