Email Cluster B is Online

We are investigating a timeout error which affects approximately 1 in 10, 000 (which equates to 0.01 per cent) sent mail attempts every 2 hours.

We are working with our vendor to investigate an issue with our Outbound Mail Filters (OMFs). Our temporary work-around is to periodically restart the affected servers. When we do this, customers in the process of sending a message may receive a timeout error message. Customers who do experience this error should attempt to resend the message immediately. Their message will not be lost.

All customers have mailbox access and can send and receive mail. Our Technical Support team reports ticket and call volumes are regular. Our monitoring identified this issue and we wanted to keep you informed in advance of any calls which you may receive from your customers.
