Updates related to Incident 10418
Tucows Blogware is Online
OpenSRS services: Blogware is online. We addressed the cause of the issue and will provide more details once our technical teams have concluded their investigation.
Incident Summary:
Between approximately 15:15 UTC Feb 6 and 16:25 UTC Feb 6 our Domain Service, SSL, Website Builder and Blogware services were unavailable as were DNS look-ups and Storefronts.
During this time, Resellers were unable to connect to those OpenSRS services via RWI or the API and people accessing sites using our DNS may have experienced long load times or time outs. Storefront, Web Site Builder and Blogware sites were unavailable for resellers, their customers, and visitors to those sites.
We were able to identify the source of the connection issue approximately 25 minutes after it was first identified and began implementing a fix immediately. We closely monitored, tested, and confirmed that services were fully available by 16:20 UTC. Five minutes later we moved the status of all service from offline to online.
