Domain Service is In Maintenance
OpenSRS Email Cluster A has a three-hour maintenance window beginning now.
During this maintenance window, we'll be performing firmware updates on storage components that are used by certain parts of the OpenSRS platform. We expect a set of 4 - 6 short, intermittent interruptions in service during the three hour window. Each interruption will last for a couple of minutes and will affect various different services (WHOIS, Parked Pages, etc.) at different times.
Domain Service is Online
Our network operations team has been monitoring the network for the last hour or two and we haven't seen a repeat of the networking issue that caused an interruption in service this morning. We're going to return the status to online at this time as they expect no further issues and believe that they have isolated the root cause. More information about what caused the disruption will be added to this update when we have it.
Domain Service is Degraded
Our monitoring systems are showing that we are currently back online, although we're continuing to investigate an issue related to a pair of redundant network devices that may cause this event to re-occur. For this reason, we're currently in DEGRADED status until we can confirm a full restoration of service.

Our monitoring indicates that we're experiencing further network issues that are affecting various OpenSRS services. We're continuing to investigate the cause.

According to our monitoring, it looks like everything is back online. We're going to continue to monitor and investigate to determine the root cause of the disruption.

Domain Service is In Maintenance
We are performing maintenance of the OpenSRS system on Saturday, April 2, 2011 UTC from 09:00 to 13:00 UTC.
The maintenance will affect all OpenSRS services including the Reseller Web Interface, the API, Blogware, Parked Pages, Storefront, Trust Service, Website Builder and domainadmin.com. It is expected they will be unavailable for up to 2 hours during this maintenance window.
Domains and email will continue to function.
During this window we will be performing a software maintenance to our Database infrastructure as well as a portion of our storage infrastructure.
We wanted to make you aware of this maintenance so you are prepared for up to 2 hours of outage.

Service Impact:
Except for the interfaces and API impacted by this maintenance, all OpenSRS services will remain unaffected. Domain names, DNS, digital certificats and email will continue to function.
Impact for Resellers:
For up to 2 hours during this maintenance period, Resellers will not be able to access the Reseller Web Interface, the API, Blogware, Parked Pages, Storefront, Trust Service, Website Builder and domainadmin.com. Additionally, commands to OpenSRS via the API will not be possible.
Impact for End-users:
For up to 2 hours during this maintenance period, End-users will not be able to access domainadmin.com, Storefront or the Manage Web Interface. Additionally, commands to OpenSRS via the API will not be possible. Domain names, DNS, Digital Certificates and email will continue to function.
