The earlier issues experienced were due to a network problem with our upstream providers. The problematic routes are no longer being used and the issue has been resolved.

The problem has been identified and corrected. The cause of the event was related to the routing tables of a layer 2/3 network switch during an earlier upgrade. Everything appears to be back to normal and we're keeping an eye on things and will post updates if we notice anything else.

At approximately 03:00 GMT/UTC, we became aware of an event affecting a number of TLDs. DNS continues to resolve for existing domains, but registration of new domains is affected. Our team is currently diagnosing the trouble and will provide updates as they become available.
