Tucows Website Builder is In Maintenance
There is a 4-hour network maintenance window on Sunday, May 30, 2010 UTC. During this window, we will be conducting hardware upgrades to our main database server. The upgrade will provide us with capacity improvements as well as reduce our power footprint.

The Website Builder administration panel will be unavailable for approximately two hours within the four hour window.

OpenSRS services: Website Builder are online. We addressed the cause of the issue and will provide more details once our technical teams have concluded their investigation.
Incident Summary:
Between approximately 15:15 UTC Feb 6 and 16:25 UTC Feb 6 our Domain Service, SSL, Website Builder and Blogware services were unavailable as were DNS look-ups and Storefronts.
During this time, Resellers were unable to connect to those OpenSRS services via RWI or the API and people accessing sites using our DNS may have experienced long load times or time outs. Storefront, Web Site Builder and Blogware sites were unavailable for resellers, their customers, and visitors to those sites.
We were able to identify the source of the connection issue approximately 25 minutes after it was first identified and began implementing a fix immediately. We closely monitored, tested, and confirmed that services were fully available by 16:20 UTC. Five minutes later we moved the status of all service from offline to online.

There is a 3-hour Tucows Website Builder maintenance starting now. (04:00 UTC). This time will be used to update the version of firmware (IOS) on a number of switches.
Service Impact:
OpenSRS Services will be affected within the 3-hour maintenance window. During this window, the service interruption is expected to be less than an hour.
Impact for Resellers:
The following services will be unavailable for up to one hour during the three hour window:
* Website Builder provisioning
* All domains will continue to resolve.

Incident Summary: (Updated October 27, 2009)
Our Website Builder vendor advised that they encountered a minor server outage which caused Website Builder services to be unavailable. Their technical teams resolved it, we tested and confirmed it online.
